The last Trial was held at Frys Cross Farm on June 1st

Section 1:
Dan Beaven had a good clean followed by James Fry.
Miles Carruthers riding the red route hopped nicely over the logs and Robbie Lewis showed skill over the oil drums, both for clean. Tony Moulder took off at the upturned baths and cleaned the section, Chris Lewis had a little less air time but still showed the same skill. Paul Goddard did well but lost his balance on the tyres. Robbie Eisinger worked hard on the turns for a 2.
Section 2:
In and out of the gulley, Luke Thomas had a good clean even though a sudden shower made the section a little slippery. Phillip Craddock had a good clean. James Fry had a good ride, especially across the rocks.
Section 3:
Across the bank, by 2:30 no expert had cleaned this section, there was a lot of loose soil. I then witnessed James Fry have the first clean of the day. Miles Caruthers struggled across the camber but he was not alone. Chris Lewis had a single dab.
Section 4:
Dan Beaven had a good clean, as did Tristan Robinson. Adam Boxall and George Hayes both had a nice clean here.
Section 5:
Quite a straight forward section if you concentrated!! Clayton Baker had a nice clean; Clare Vardy also rode well for a clean. Alan Ayres cleaned this section every time. Fraser Cannom had a proficient clean.
Section 6:
Self-Observed section near the road. Sophie Allen got stuck in the loose soil for a 3 while Louise Cannom rolled backwards across the roots for a 5.
Section 7:
Clayton Baker had a good clean at this section as did Alfie Miles, Aaron Tame and Oliver Norris. Sophie Allen had a good ride as she has gone up a route. Robbie Lewis had a dab after the ditch but George “The Glasses” Hayes and Adam Boxall both rode nicely for cleans. Paul Goddard had a brilliant ride through the ditch. James Fry had a good clean, as did Tony Moulder, while Chris Lewis had 2 dabs.
Section 8:
This was the longest section of the trial. George Hayes and Adam Boxall had nice cleans here. Benny Ayres fell off at this section (a rare sight). Shame I missed it-Ed!!
Clare Vardy had a good clean. Fraser Cannom showed promise on this section; sister Louise did a lovely jump over the log but then got stuck in the trees. Sophie Allen cleaned the log well but also had 2 dabs through the trees. Max Varney rode this well but stalled through the trees (b***** trees!!) Luke Cabrol cleaned this section well as befits one of the best B riders.

Thanks to Geoff Bishop and all those who helped set out a brilliant trial enjoyed by all.

Thanks also to Cathy for signing on and this months report.

Last but not least thank you to all who observed on the day… Roger Farmer, Keith Cannom, Neil Varney, Paul Cabrol, Charlie Lewis, Bill Moulder, Geoff Bishop and Jane Boxall.

SAFETY NOTE:

Would all riders (Adult & Youth) please observe safety rules.
